Leapin’ Sand Lizard (D208-412)

Created by Craig for the Leapin” Lizards cache in Allegany State Park.
Unfortunately, we ran out of time and never made it to that cache. (Always a risk to make a ducky before you find the cache….)

So, instead we left it in the last cache we found on our ASP Geobash V adventure, Angling for Cache. (A cache very close to the Ducky-Pond, really. Leapin’ Sand Lizard went for a long ride to go a very short distance.)  We had tried to find this cache before, but there was a muggle there. This time we found it, but the summer grasses were high and waving in the breeze. It reminded UU Jester of that scene from the Jurassic Park movies.

Leapin’ Sand Lizard was created using a sand lizard photo as a model.

Our caching buddy, Tundra Wolf grabbed the cache and the ducky the very next day. (Since we forgot to take photos of our ducky, he was kind enough to snap some and send them to us.)
