The fourth spirit to visit Ebeneezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens‘ famous tale, A Christmas Carol, was the Ghost of Christmas Future (or the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come). It was described as, “shrouded in a deep black garment, which concealed its head, its face, its form, and left nothing of it visible save one outstretched hand.”
The ducky’s eyes, teeth (duck teeth?), and bony wing tips all glow in the dark. (It’s creepier in the dark than it is under the bright light, and that is saying something.)
The Duck of Christmas Future is haunting the B.Z. Boys.
