Gorge-Us Ducky (D37-105)

Judd's Falls in Ducky form

Created by Cheryl for the Judd’s Falls Multi-cache on November 7, 2009.

Our first multi-cache and it is still one of our favorite ones.  We had to rely on Cheryl’s geo-sense for the first part, located at the top of the falls.  After we found it, we walked up the trail to the source of the falls.  Craig managed to not fall off the ledge.  Then we followed the trail down to the 2nd part of the cache.  In that time, another team had stopped by, discovered the first part, and were looking for the 2nd part.  (They took a wrong turn and completely missed the GZ.)  We introduced ourselves using the secret goecaching call-sign/countersign, “Looking for something?” “Find it yet?” and then joined forces with the Looneylongs.  (We waterfowl do stick together.)  Cheryl found the second part and created the vista ducky for the falls.

Our first multi-cache.  Our first cacher meeting on the trail.  Our first time to these wonderful falls.

Little Turtles poached? Gorge-Us Ducky on November 8, 2009.  (We use the term “poached” here because Little Turtles is actually GPSBarb‘s husband–and she set up the cache.  Of course, she might have made him find the cache without any help.  How would we know?)
